ROME - NASA has released new and spectacular images of the surface of Mars collected by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. In this photo the sand dunes created by the wind to the western edge of the Hellas impact crater, in the southern hemisphere of the Red Planet. Dune identical calls Barcane, are also found on Earth. The photos also the traces left by Curiosity taranis in the crater taranis Gale. The rover arrived on Mars in August 2012.
